Hello, I’m Lisa
I’m a broadcaster, commentator and storyteller who has spent more than 25 years talking about sport, people and the moments that bring them together.
My work has taken me from Wimbledon’s Centre Court to Olympic and Paralympic venues around the world—and into commentary boxes, radio studios, rally stages and some wonderfully unexpected places along the way.
Away from the microphone, I’m happiest making things: podcasts, soundscapes, clothes, watercolours and occasionally a glorious mess. This website is a home for the work I’m proud of, the stories behind it and the new things I’m still learning.
Behind the mic
I’ve worked in broadcasting for more than 25 years, across radio, television and digital platforms. Sport has taken me around the world—from Wimbledon and the Tour de France to Olympic, Paralympic and Commonwealth Games.
I’ve reported from mixed zones, presented from venues, produced programmes and commentated live when there is nowhere to hide and no second take.
My work spans tennis, judo, Boccia, goalball, netball, rugby, rallying, winter sport and plenty more besides.
I was part of Channel 4’s BAFTA-winning London 2012 team and have worked on major international productions for broadcasters including talkSPORT, Sky Sports and OBS.
Whatever the event, my approach is the same: prepare thoroughly, stay curious and make the action clear, lively and human.
